OUR MISSION
The goal of Foundations Montessori School is to establish a community where each child feels happy, safe and secure, and where each adult feels welcome, valued and respected.  It is within this environment that children develop a capacity for peace, an acceptance of individual differences and a life-long passion for learning. We strive to meet the needs of each child - social, emotional, physical, cognitive and spiritual - in a caring and developmentally appropriate manner.  We strive to model exceptional behavior and constructive methods for conflict resolution.  We strive to offer ample opportunity for self-directed learning using a variety of Montessori materials. We believe that life is inter-connected and that each being - from child to adult - can make an important contribution to our world.  Foundations does not discriminate based upon race, color, religious creed, handicap, ancestry, national origin or gender.  We are not affiliated with any organized religion and embrace diversity.

OUR FACULTY
Our school is fortunate to have a talented and long-serving faculty of trained Montessori teachers and assistants.

All of our teachers are experts at preparing an environment perfectly suited to the needs of young children.  Carefully placed and always accessible Montessori materials provide the sense of order that young children count on as they work their way through the program.  Independence is carefully nurtured, leading to the development of concentration, the birth of collaboration and a feeling of mastery as children are able to succeed at their tasks.
